Due to the large number of counterfeit goods and fakes in the trade market, Rosstandart made sure of the adoption of new drafts protecting right-holders and their products.

New standards are primarily aimed at tracking the russian trade turnover and ensuring authenticity control (GOST R 58636-2019, GOST R 58635-2019).

Such supervision will help establish trust between the customer and the manufacturer because the market situation has recently exacerbated, and this fact leads to greater risks for manufacturers and suppliers.

The standards, which will come into force in March 2020, are aimed at preventing a crisis in the market.
