On January 8, 2019, the Eurasian Economic Union has published the register of pressure equipment subject to an EAC Certification. This affects all pressure equipment subject to the scope of the Technical Regulation TR CU 032/2013 On safety of pressure equipment.
The register will come into effect on February 27, 2019. It regulates all pressure equipment which requires special permissions or information at the customs clearance.
The register contains 14 different groups, 4 of them concerning pipes and pipelines (depending on temperature, pressure, etc.).
The remaining 10 groups concern:
- Pressure vessels for gas or steam (work medium 1*)
- Pressure vessels for gas or steam (work medium 2**)
- Pressure vessels for liquids (work medium 1)
- Pressure vessels for liquids (work medium 2)
- Fittings
- Equipment parts
- Decompression chambers
- Safety equipment
- Relief valves
- etc.
For each group either an EAC certification or an EAC declaration is required.
