The drafts of the changes to the Technical Regulation TR CU 032/2013 "On safety of pressure equipment" will be discussed in Russia by the end of July.
A new term “type of equipment” is introduced in the document. One type of equipment will include the equipment having the same operating principle, purpose and structure, shape and design.
In addition, two sections have been revised in which rules for compliance with the safety requirements and for the conformity assessment of products are specified. In addition, new conformity assessment schemes are discussed: Scheme 9C of the EAC Certification for the one-time delivery of the equipment imported for the companies based in the EAEU, scheme 7D of the EAC Declaration for batch or one-time deliveries.
In the case of scheme 7D, the applicant's own evidence as well as test reports from accredited laboratories can be used. The manufacturer provides the information about the product, then the equipment is identified for compliance with the certified type of equipment and the EAC declaration is registered via the Federal Accreditation Service.
