On March 26, 2020, the decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) No.14, which was adopted on February 21, 2020, will enter into force. These are the changes in the plan in the technical regulations of the EAEU / Customs Union.
The plan for the elaboration and revision of the regulations was approved by the Council of EWK No. 79 on April 1st, 2014. Based on the practice of the application, the plan mentioned is updated regularly.
Now it is about an entry in section II (the nomenclature of the regulations that still needs to be completed) two new items regarding the update of TR CU 034/2013 "On the safety of meat and meat products" :
- one more review for identification (indication of the nutritional value of slaughter and meat products);
- a more precise definition of the terms used in the rules.
The changes are included in items 43 and 44.
The Russian Federation is preparing the first changes with the participation of the other EEU member states by the second quarter of 2021, the second - from the Republic of Kazakhstan in one year.
