The technical regulation for meat is updated

On the 21 of February a decree was published on the official website of the EEC, in which it is necessary to draw up a new editorial for TR CU 034/2013 "On safety of meat and meat products" .

These changes must be made in two stages:

  • The second quarter of 2021 - a clarification of the requirements with indication of the nutritional value in the marking
  • The second quarter of 2022 - the review of the conceptual framework of the regulations

The first changes have to be prepared for EEC by the Russian Federation, the second - Republic of Kazakhstan. The other EAEU member states will also make their proposals.

The review of TR CU 034/2013 "About the safety of meat and meat products" is connected with the practice of its application. All Member States of the EAEU voted to update this set of regulation.
