On January 21, 2022, Resolution of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission No. 11 of January 18, 2022 was published. This approved an updated program for the development and revision of the standards called for meeting the requirements of the technical regulation TR CU 010/2011 “On safety of machinery and equipment”. The Technical Regulation set minimum requirements for the safety of products during the EAC Certification, EAC Declaration or state registration.
New edition of standards
The new edition of the program includes 142 positions for the development of international standards based on the requirements of EN and ISO.
The program provides for the development of GOSTs with the requirements for the following machines and equipment:
- Tractors, agricultural and forestry machinery, lawn and garden equipment
- Earth moving machines
- Forklifts
- Mast lifts
- Equipment for the polygraphy
- Snow removal equipment
- Food processing machines
- Garbage trucks and their lifting devices
- Woodworking machines, etc.
The development of GOSTs ensures compliance with the requirements of the provisions of Articles 4 and 5, Applications No. 1 and No. 2 of the Technical Regulation TR CU 010/2011. The new program is designed to last until 2026. A member state of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is responsible for each standard. For example, the Russian Federation is responsible for developing 68 standards.
The updated program will be applied from February 20, 2022.
