The Federal State Budgetary Institution "NIZ PM – Rostest" warns of numerous cases of forged test reports allegedly issued by the testing laboratory of its Sergiev Posad branch. This is an alarming signal for all participants of the EAC certification and EAC declaration procedures within the framework of importing goods into the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
One mesage was posted on the Rosaccreditation website on November 17, 2021. This communicated that it is currently possible to transfer the EAC certificate to another certification body.
On March 31, 2021, the Resolution of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation No. 34 "On Approval of the List of Non-Conformities with Accreditation Criteria Leading the Revocation of Accreditation and the List of Non-Conformities with the Requirements of the Legislation of the Russian Federation for Activities of accredited bodies that result in the blocking of accreditation" was published on January 28, 2021.
Despite sanctions and political disputes, the Eurasian and especially the Russian market remain attractive for many european manufacturers. The corresponding conformity assessment - EAC certification or EAC declaration - is a major obstacle for many foreign entrepreneurs due to its complexity, language differences and the very dynamic development of technical regulations and legislation in the field of industrial safety and consumer protection.
