As a member of the EAEU since January 2, 2015, Armenia adheres to the common technical regulations and standards of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
From April 29 to May 29, 2021, the changes to the procedure for the elaboration, adoption, amendment and repeal of the technical regulations of the EAEU will be publicly discussed in Russia.
On April 12, 2021, a public discussion on the draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation regarding the invalidation of test reports issued by test laboratories began.
On February 8, 2021, a public discussion began on the draft standards in the Technical Regulation TR EAEU 049/2020 "The requirements for pipelines for the transport of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons".
On March 12, 2021, the Decision No. 28 of March 9, 2021 of the Eurasian Economic Commission was published. It means that new standards have been passed that have established the new requirements of TR CU 010/2011 “On the safety of machines and systems”.
On February 18, 2021, a public discussion began in the Council of the Eurasian Economic Union. The project for the formation and introduction of the Register of chemical substances and mixtures of the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as the notification of new chemicals is on the agenda.
From 1 January 2021, a new GOST standard R 54293-2020 "Production audit within the framework of confirmation of conformity", approved by Rosstandart Decision No 583 of 28 August 2020, will come into force.
This standard will replace the old GOST R 54293-2010, which has been in use since 2010.
