The EAEU passes the technical regulation TR EAEU 036/2016 On requirements for the gaseous fuel.

The resolution on the new technical regulation has been published on the homepage of the Eurasian Economic Commission on October 19, 2016 and will come into force.

The regulation sets the mandatory safety requirements for liquid hydrocarbon gas with respect to the processes of storage, transport and sale thereof in order to ensure free circulation in the Customs Union.

The technical regulation covers liquid hydrocarbon gases that are introduced into the customs union for private or commercial use as fuel.

The technical regulation TR EAEU 036/2016 shall enter into force on January 1, 2018.
