The Technical Regulation of the customs union TR CU 028/2012 On safety of explosives and products on their basis contains mandatory safety requirements for explosives and products based on them, as well as the processes of its manufacture, application, storage, and transport. It was adopted in order to protect the life, health, environment and property in the territory of the customs union. It also serves to prevent misleading actions against the consumer. The Technical Regulation TR CU 028/2012 serves to ensure a uniform application and enforcement of the requirements for explosives and products on their basis in the customs union and to ensure the free movement of goods.

The conformity assessment process
The conformity assessment according to the requirements of the Technical Regulation TR CU 028/2012 On safety of explosives and products on their basis is carried out exclusively in the form of an EAC Certification.
EAC Marking
The explosives certified according to TR CU 028/2011 must be marked with the EAC marking before launch. The marking is to be affixed to the packaging and the directions for use.
Period of validity of EAC Certificate
The validity of the EAC Certificate for explosives and products on their basis is up to 3 years.
