Verification of identity cards and tax numbers

Schmidt & Schmidt is offering to check Russian identity cards and Russian tax identification numbers for authenticity on the basis of data provided by the Federal Migration Service and the Federal Tax Office of the Russian Federation.

The verification of tax numbers or passport details can help to recognise and prevent fraud when negotiating contracts or conduct transactions with Russian clients or partners.

Verification of identity cards

In order to check the authenticity and vailidity of a Russian identity card, the following information is required:

• Serial number of the identity card
• Number of the identity card

Verification of tax identification number

In order to check the authenticity and vailidity of a Russian tax identification number, the following information is required:

• Company name
• Address
• Tax identification number
• Number of state registration

The verification of the tax number of legal entities is also possible, if the information is incomplete.

In order to check the authenticity and vailidity of a Russian sole proprietor's tax identification number, the following information is required:

• Given name: *
• Surname: *
• Date of birth: *
• Serial number and passport number: *
• Date of issuing: *

The verification of the tax number of sole proprietors is only possible, if the information is complete.
