According to the current legislation, companies registered in Tajikistan are required to submit annual financial statements. Access to the financial statements of Tajik companies is possible only with the power of attorney from the companies.
The submission of annual reporting in Tajikistan is regulated by the Civil Code, the Tax Code, the Accounting and Financial Reporting Law and other regulatory legal acts. The International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) operate currently in Tajikistan.
Companies are required to submit financial statements for one copy (free of charge) to financial bodies and state statistics bodies. In addition, companies selling their shares publish financial statements through the stock exchange.
The deadline for submitting financial statements is until 30th of April of the year following the reporting year.
Joint-stock companies, banks and other credit and insurance organizations, stock exchanges, the State Agency for Social Insurance and Pensions, investment and other funds created at the expense of personal, public and state funds are required to publish the annual financial report at their own expense through the media no later than 1st of June of the year following the reporting year.
