A draft decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission “On changes to the rules for issuing a certificate of state registration of products” has been published for public discussion.
This project proposes to introduce a simplified procedure for issuing certificates of state registration of products for 180 days, namely:
- The duration for issuance of the certificate is reduced to 15 working days (currently the duration is 30 calendar days)
- The need to provide copies of an agreement with a testing laboratory or a letter from a testing laboratory when sending samples of products manufactured outside the customs territory of the EAEU will be abolished
The changes are aimed at making it easier to conduct business. Discussion will last from July 6 to August 5, 2022.
