The new technical regulation TR EAEU 43/2017 On requirements for fire safety and extinguishing devices is to come into force on January 1, 2020. The regulation standardises requirements for:

New draft legislation on compulsory identification marking

A new draft legislation in Russia suggests new measures to fight counterfeit products. It has already passed the first reading.

The legislation would introduce a compulsory identification marking for certain products and determine the identification methods as well as the responsible authorities. It is supposed to contain illegal trade with fake products and shall enter into force on January 1, 2019.

On December 22, the Duma has passed a new law on the marking of goods with a special identification mark. According to this law, the government of the Russian Federation can decide which goods are to be marked with an identification number as well a special mark.
