There is a decree of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin published on the Moscow Mayor’s website, which states that notaries are excluded from the list of organizations whose work should be suspended before the end of April due to the spread of coronavirus.
Last month the Federal Notary Chamber (FNP) announced that notaries should comply with all sanitary requirements, but the work of notaries should not be suspended during a pandemic.
According to representatives of the Federal Notary Chamber, notary offices continue their work in the Russian Federation, “restricting or terminating receiving citizens in strict accordance with the orders of state authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation or local governments due to measures providing for restrictions aimed at protecting the population and territories from emergency situations. "
Let us recall that there is a high-alert mode in Moscow because of the spread of COVID-19. Citizens must remain at their homes in self-isolation and of course most organizations are prohibited from working.
