Panama's Ministry of Finance issued Decree No. 164, which was published in the Official Gazette on July 2, 2021. The document establishes a list of 66 reporting jurisdictions (among others in the list of the Russian Federation), for the purpose of automatic exchange of information on financial accounts for the 2020 financial year in accordance with the Common Reporting Standard (CRS). The Ministry also published Resolution 201-5674, which provides for an extension of the deadline for submitting CRS information for 2020 from July 31 to August 31, 2021 due to the current viral situation.
