On January 18, 2019, the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has passed the register of attractions subject to an EAC Certification. The EAC Certification follows the procedures and regulations of the Technical regulation TR EAEU 038/2016 On safety of attractions.
The attractions are divided into two groups according to their risk potential:
- Attractions with biomechanic effects with a risk potential of RB-1
- Attractions with biomechanic effects with a risk potential of RB-2 and RB-3
Attractions of the first group (RB-1) require certification, while the attractions of the second group (RB-2 and RB-3) only require EAC declaration. The register affects both temporarily installed and permanent attractions. It should be noted, that the following attractions are not influenced by the Technical Regulation TR EAEU 038/2016:
- Attractions for children's playgrounds
- Attractions with a risk potential of RB-4
Besides that, all devices and attractions produced prior to the entry into force of TR EAEU 038/2016 are excluded from its scope and effects.
