In conjunction with TR EAEU 044/2017 On the safety of packaged drinking water including natural mineral water coming into force, the provisions of TR CU 021/2011 On safety of food have been updated. The term "Drinking water for baby food" will be erased from the technical regulation in order to avoid overlappings with the new regulation.
Furthermore, the register of products subject to state registration will be updated (art. 24, 3). From now, the state registration is required for all types of table water and healing water. Certain microbiological requirements for beverages have been updated as well.
Important not - the new technical regulation does not revoke other regulations on drinking water!
TR EAEU 044/2017 On the safety of packaged drinking water including natural mineral water will come into force on January 1, 2019, alongside the updates to TR CU 021/2011 On safety of food.
