At the end of February, the standards development program comes into force. These standards are necessary for the implementation of the requirements of TR CU 032/2013 On safety of pressure equipment .
The aforementioned document was adopted by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
The program includes the standards on safety requirements of pressure equipment. It is also the test methods of those.
The program has a total of 21 positions regarding development and changes in standards. The international standards of ISO and EN have been defined as the basis for new GOSTs. Another review is planned for outdated international standards.
On the basis of ISO, GOSTs are developed that concern the following categories:
- Materials for materials testing
- The general principles of magnetic powder testing
- Ultrasonic methods, levels of non-destructive testing of welded joints and assessment
The standards of EN are the basis of new GOSTs for the vessels. They are for gases, liquid gases, liquid gases and vapors dissolved under pressure.
The implementation of the program is for three years. The representatives of Russia (14 standards), Belarus (4 standards) and Kazakhstan (3 standards) are the standards developers.
