The Eurasian Economic Union is about to pass an agreement on products that are not yet subject to technical regulation. On May 15, 2018 the document has been published on the official website of the EAEU. The agreement regulates the placing of types of goods that are not covered by the technical regulations on the market, such as:
- Armaments
- Medical goods
- Pharmaceuticals
- Used goods
The distribution of hazardous products in the EAEU's member states is punishable. To ensure the products' safety, the following things should be payed attention to:
- Characteristics, packaging, completeness of the documentation
- Compability of different products
- Markings
- Area of application
The conformity assessment of such goods is to be regulated by the national standards of the respective state. The agreement is currently being discussed within the member states of the EAEU.
