In 2016, some new GOST Standards that the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology Rosstandart has agreed to are to come into force in Russia.
One of which is a standard that can be complied with on a voluntary basis that deals with „Aluminium kitchen ware with non-adhesive coating“. It sets requirements for the marking, transportation and storage of these goods as well as for their size.
Another standard is GOST-R ISO 23771-2015 "Textile machines - guideline for the noise-reducing design of textile machines". This standard is supposed to make it possible for engineers to develop low-noise textile machines that comply with the global standards on the maximum noise emissions.
Furthermore, from January 1, a series of new GOST standards "On safety of household appliances" will enter into force that determine current safety requirements for portable heaters, micro waves, appliances for skin exposure to ultraviolet and infrared radiation and surface-cleaning appliances
employing liquids or steam.
