In 2021, amendments to the Polish law "On the National Court Register" came into force, the main one of which involves the translation into electronic form of documentation for the registration of commercial companies. The entry into force of the changes was postponed several times due to organizational issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic, however, since July 1, applications to the National Court Register of Poland for company registration began to be submitted exclusively in electronic form.
Entrepreneurs will no longer have to manually fill in dozens of fields in forms, information in which will now be placed automatically. In addition, there will be no need to print documents, and the courts will no longer have to copy data from one document to another and send the documentation by mail. Registration decisions will be electronic documents submitted to user accounts on the Court Registry Portal. The entrepreneur who submitted the documents will be able to personally check at any time whether a decision has been made on his application or not.
Also, the system itself will inform the applicant about what data he will need, which in turn will reduce the need for entrepreneurs for personal advice. The registration fee will be charged directly when registering a company via Internet banking.
