The requirements of the Technical Regulation TR CU 009/2011 On safety of perfumes and cosmetic products are being updated.
The Eurasian Economic Union has developed 16 new standards concerning the identification of perfumery and cosmetic products. Included are ethereal oils:
- Rosemary oil
- Lemon eucalyptus
- Lavender oil
- Sandalwood oil
- Ylang ylang oil
- Bergamotte oil
- and other oils
The new standards are based on international ISO standards and methods that make it possible to test the products in vitro, i.e. without animal tests. This corresponds to the international practice.
