The list of products that are subject to the technical regulation TR EAEU 046/2018 "On the safety of natural gas" is currently being examined. The TR EAEU 046/2018 comes into force on 01.01.2022. The Technical Regulation set minimum requirements for the safety of products during the EAC Certification, EAC Declaration or state registration.
The list was drawn up taking into account the proposals of the Russian Ministry of Energy. It contains the following points:
- compressed natural combustible gas
- flammable natural gas processed for transportation by pipeline
- combustible natural gas for household and industrial use
- liquefied natural combustible gas
The confirmation of conformity of products takes the form of an obligatory EAC declaration. One of the approved schemes is selected: 1D, 3D, 4D or 6D. When gas is imported into the EAEU countries, a quality passport must be presented in addition to the EAC declaration.
