The decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission will come into force in November 2019.
The nomenclature, which is the object of the technical regulation TR CU 029/2012 "On safety of food additives, flavor enhancer and processing aids"
The list classifies food additives by type, name and HS code. A conformity assessment form is stated for each item.
A declaration of conformity assessment is mandatory for food additives flavor enhancer and processing aids. However, it is required to obtain a certificate of state registration for new products, instead of a declaration.
The list includes 60 items of food additives. There are:
- Thickeners and gelling additives
- Defoamers
- Sweeteners
- Preservatives
- Dyes
- Flavor and aroma enhancers
- Flavors
- Essential oils
- Enzymes
- Gelatin, etc.
