EAC certification in times of Covid-19 pandemic

On January 10, 2021, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Council Decision No. 127 of December 23, 2020, approving temporary measures for EAC certification related to the spread of COVID-19, entered into force.

Who is allowed to register the EAC declaration: Updates

On January 1, 2021, a new procedure for registration of EAC declarations approved by Decision of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade No. 478 of July 31, 2020 came into effect. EAC declarations must be independently registered by applicants through the electronic service FSIS Rosaccreditation.

Amendments planned for the registration of EAC certificates and declarations

On december 8, 2020 a public discussion on two draft decisions of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEC) Board began.
They concern changes in the rules for issuing EAC certificates and declarations.

End of the VAT reduction

The 3% reduction of VAT to 16% introduced by the German government as part of the economic stimulus package to combat economic damage caused by the Corona crisis will end at the end of this year.

Transitional provisions for TR EAEU 048/2019 adopted

On 25 November 2020, the decision of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) No. 146 of 17 November 2020 was officially published.

This decision establishes the transitional periods for the entry into force of the technical regulation TR EAEU 048/2019 On the energy efficiency requirements for energy consuming appliances.
