To initiate this process, the couple must submit a written request to Skatteverket. The application forms, which are only available in Swedish, can be found on the Agency's website.

It is obtained at the Swedish Tax Agency or at the local municipality (Kommun) where the marriage was registered.

Divorce certificate (Skilsmässobrevis)
If you wish to get divorced, you need to contact the district court. Once the court has made a decision regarding your divorce, it will notify the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket).

Death certificate (dödsbevis)
In Sweden, when a person passes away, a doctor is required to send a death certificate (known as a dödsbevis) to the Swedish Tax Agency, Skatteverket. Skatteverket then records the death, issues a dödsfallsintyg (for Swedish residents), and notifies various authorities, as well as certain companies, banks, and insurance providers automatically. A copy of the dödsfallsintyg can be requested from Skatteverket at any time.
Deaths of non-residents are also registered, and next of kin may request an extract from the register by contacting Skatteverket. This extract (registerutdrag) confirms the deceased person’s name, date of birth, and date of death.

Educational Documents
Foreign educational documents only carry the same legal value as Italian documents if they are exempt from legalization or have undergone the necessary legalization process.
