From June 2021, anonymous users will no longer be able to find out the necessary information in the Czech real estate cadaster online. They will only be shown general information about the property and the registration process. Full data will only be available to those who have logged into the system through the National Identity and Authentication Portal (eIdentita) or through a remote access account to the real estate cadaster
The Czech Geodetic and Cadastral Office (ČÚZK) explains this decision by a sharp increase in the number of applications. At the same time, the department wants to strengthen the protection of personal data stored in the cadaster.
The Internet application that provides access to the real estate cadaster has been very slow since the beginning of this year. The main reason is software robots that automatically downloaded information from the inventory. ČÚZK solved the problem in mid-March by strengthening the technological infrastructure of the application. However, due to the increase in the volume of automated data extraction, the situation may repeat itself. That is why the department has restricted access to information about real estate for anonymous users.
Let us remind you that the real estate cadaster of the Czech Republic contains information on land plots, real estate objects and their owners.
