Documents in Moldova can now be submitted online for apostille and picked up with a digital signature. The corresponding service is available on the territory of the Republic from March 21, 2022.
The service is provided through a special service on the government portal of the Republic of Moldova. The service can be used with a mobile signature, an electronic signature or an electronic personal identifier. After passing authentication, the applicant can register an application, fill out a special form and upload a scanned copy of the documents that need to be signed by a special application.
Payment for e-Apostille is made through the state electronic payment service M-Pay. Consideration of the application for an electronic apostille will be accepted after confirmation of payment.
At the same time, the procedure for apostilling documents on a physical medium in Moldova will be fully maintained. It will continue to be carried out in the Apostille and Legalization Department according to the online schedule or in the order of the usual queue.
