On January 26, the Order of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission No. was published. This approved changes in the list of goods subject to sanitary and epidemiological surveillance in the customs territory of the EAEU. After that, a certificate on the state hygienic registration (also called SGR) is issued. The certificate on the state hygienic registration confirms the conformity of the products with the sanitary-hygienic regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The main goal is the adoption of the draft decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission “On Amendments to Section II of the Unified List of Products (Commodities) Subject to State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance (Control) in the Customs Territory of the Eurasian Economic Union”.
In the approved amendments, the following points in the list of products (goods) subject to state registration are clarified:
- In paragraph 8, the exemption "pesticides" has been added.
- In paragraph 11, some of the products with the HS-Code 3808 have been replaced by disinfectants.
This paragraph includes potentially hazardous biological and chemical substances and preparations based on them that pose a potential hazard to humans (with the exception of medicinal products and pesticides).
The designations such as "insecticides, rodenticides, fungicides, herbicides, growth regulators" are replaced by "disinfectants". In addition, similar products remain in this paragraph that are packaged for retail and represent products used in daily life and in preventive medical facilities to ensure the health and safety of citizens (e.g. candles and wicks, flypaper).
The approved amendments will be submitted to the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission for consideration, after which a decision will be made on their acceptance.
The list of goods subject to state registration on the territory of the Union was approved by the 299th decision of May 2010. Currently, it includes household chemicals, deratization, disinfection and disinfestation products, adult personal care items and some other products.
