The application form is determined by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.
The electronic application itself is signed with an advanced electronic signature. The Electronic Apostille is issued by creating an electronic version of the Apostille using a two-dimensional barcode.
At the same time, the applicant who requested an electronic apostille can also request a apostille in paper form.
To date, the website gosuslugi.ru offers only the traditional form of obtaining an apostille on paper. However, according to the statement of the Minister of Justice of Russia Konstantin Chuchenko, the electronic apostille will be in July in full circulation in the Russian Federation.
