A new draft legislation in Russia suggests new measures to fight counterfeit products. It has already passed the first reading.
The legislation would introduce a compulsory identification marking for certain products and determine the identification methods as well as the responsible authorities. It is supposed to contain illegal trade with fake products and shall enter into force on January 1, 2019.
