On July 20, 2022, the text of Decree No. 105 of July 13, 2022 “On changes to the unified list of products subject to mandatory EAC conformity assessment” was published.
This draft proposes changes to replace the standards for which the EAC conformity assessment e.g. in form of EAC Certification or EAC Deklaration is carried out and a partial replacement of the customs tariff numbers for the following products:
- Acid and alkaline batteries
- Glassware
- Compound feed and feed additives
- Detergent
- Composite bathtubs
Batteries and acid batteries
- GOST R IEC 896-1-95 is replaced by “GOST R IEC 60896-11-2015 Stationary lead-acid batteries. Part 11. Vented types. General requirements and methods of tests”.
Batteries and alkaline batteries
- Customs tariff numbers 8507400000, 8518210000 are excluded
- Customs tariff number 8507800000 is replaced by 8507800009
- GOST R IEC 60622-2002 is replaced by “GOST R IEC 60622-2010 Accumulators and rechargeable batteries with alkaline and other non-acidic electrolytes. Replaced sealed prismatic nickel-cadmium batteries”
- GOST R IEC 60623-2008 is replaced by “GOST R IEC 60623-2019 Secondary cells and batteries containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes. Vented nickel-cadmium prismatic rechargeable single cells”
- GOST R IEC 61951-2-2007 is replaced by “GOST R IEC 61951-2-2019 Secondary cells and batteries containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes. Secondary sealed cells and batteries for portable applications. Part 2. Nickel-metal hydride”
- GOST R IEC 61960-2007 is replaced by “GOST R IEC 61960-3-2019 Secondary cells and batteries containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes. Secondary lithium cells and batteries for portable applications. Part 3. Prismatic and cylindrical lithium secondary cells, and batteries made from them”
- GOST R IEC 62133-2004 is replaced by “GOST R IEC 62133-1-2019 Batteries and rechargeable batteries containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes. Safety requirements for portable sealed batteries and batteries from them for portable use. Part 1. Nickel-based systems” and “GOST IEC 62133-2-2019 Secondary cells and batteries containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes. Safety requirements for portable sealed secondary cells, and for batteries made from them, for use in portable applications. Part 2. Lithium systems"
For the changes to take effect, the document must be approved by the Council of the Eurasian Economic Union.
