During the periode of February 17 to March 2, the changes regarding the Federal Law No. 123 of July 22, 2008 "The technical regulations of fire safety" will be discussed publicly.
The changes considered are associated with ambiguities in the Russian Code. There is no clear definition of the following terms: "storage room" and "operating room". Such rooms must have categories of danger (flammable and explosive).
Storage and operating rooms must be equipped with fire protection, special equipment and fire hazards. It is also very important to have a correct location.
In addition, the regulations have important changes with regard to the applicable legal provisions for social and individual fire risks.
The requirements are set based on the experience of other countries.
It is also planned to reduce the value of social and individual fire risks.
