On November 6, 2020 the fourth meeting of the Interdepartamental Council of National Quality Infrastructure took place.
During the meeting, the question of the possibility of accredited bodies to work in the field of mandatory conformity assessment with the requirements of the legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union was discussed. 17 newly accredited bodies were added to the national part of the single register and 425 accredited bodies confirmed their qualification. 171 accredited bodies have been excluded from the national part of the single register.
The reasons for most of the negative decisions were failure to comply with the requirements of technical regulations at EAC certification, and lack of registered capital of 2 million rubles.
The excluded certificato bodies cannot operate in the field of mandatory conformity assessment and cannot issue EAC certificates. They can only continue to work in areas of voluntary certification.
Excluded certification bodies can re-apply for reinstatement in the national part of the single register.
