A Uniform Halal Standard in the EAEU

The head of the International standardization and certification center HALAL, Aydar Gazizov, has claimed that a uniform standard for halal products will soon be created for the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.

A declaration was made at the Volga Investment Forum in Samara. The innovation will allow tracking such products throughout the post-Soviet space.

Aydar Gazizov said: “In the near future we will make a uniform Halal Standard within the Eurasian Union.”

A New Draft of the List of Standards for Technical Regulations On Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) of Equipment

A public discussion due to the updating the list of standards for the technical regulation of the Customs Union “On electromagnetic compatibility of technical devices” (TR CU 020/2011) is held in October.

New lists of GOSTs will replace those adopted in 2011. The lists of standards were previously reconsidered in 2015.

The updating has two purposes:

The Directory of Products Subjected to the Health Control

On September 17, 2019, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) announced an order No. 154, which includes a list of goods subjected to a sanitary-epidemiological supervision.

The document includes 18 types of products and an additional one, which can be subjected for temporary measures of health control.

A New GOST for Cut Flowers

Rosstandart approved the new GOST 18908.-2019 for cut flowers. This Standard describes the technical conditions for cut flowers such as roses, chrysanthemums, Shabo carnations, tulips and gerberas.

List of communication devices, which must be certificated, will be expanded

On August 22, 2019, the public discussion of the draft amendments to the list of devices subjecting to a mandatory certification was ended. Now the document will be submitted for acceptance to the Government of the Russian Federation. The main point is the revision of the nomenclature adopted by the Government of the Russian Federation No. 532 of June 25, 2009, which currently includes 7 sections of devices that perform the following functions:
