On April 22, 2020 a public discussion regarding the changes and the revision of GOST standards to ensure compliance with the requirements of TR ZU 017/2011 "On the safety of light industrial products" began.
Future new standards concern the following products:
- leather for furniture
- shoes for senior citizens
- pillows
- comforter
- sport shoes
- knitted, not woven and other fabrics
- tights and leggings manufactured with planing machines
The updated program includes only those interstate GOST standards, for whose development the basis is built by the national standards of the member states of the EAEU.
