On December 22, 2016, a new form of EAC Certificates and EAC Declarations for the attestation of conformity with the TR CU regulations will be introduced in the Eurasian Economic Union.
Attestations that have been issued according to the old regulation, will remain in force until their expiry. Therefore, attestations of conformity do not need to be re-issued.
Furthermore, the certificates' blank forms have been granted a transitional period. Blank forms, that have been issued until December 22, 2016, can be used for the issuing of certificates without restrictions until January 1, 2019.
The decision of the College of the Eurasian Economic Union No.154 on the introduction of the new form of EAC Certificates and EAC Declarations has been published on November 15, 2016.
The changes are of a purely formal nature. The phrases "Customs Union" and "Eurasian Economic Union" will be replaced by the abbreviations "CU" and "EAEU".
Further standards of the EAC attestation of conformity are not affected.
