On April 22, the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved a new version of the plan to develop and amend the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union. According to the plan, 11 new Technical Regulations will be created and changes will be made to 42 existing Technical Regulations .
Realization of this plan enables to uniform requirements for products, which require the conformity assessment by means of a EAC Certificate or a EAC Declaration and are sold within the EAEU, as well as to remove technical obstacles in mutual trade between the members of the EAEU.

The Russian Federation is also responsible for this procedure. The results of the cooperation are to be presented to the Eurasian Economic Commission in the 4th quarter of 2023.
