New TR EAEU 039/2016 On requirements for mineral fertilizer

In the EAEU, the technical regulation TR EAEU 039/2016 On requirements for mineral fertilizer has been passed.

According to the resolution of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission of November 30, 2016 No. 150 the technical regulation TR EAEU 039/2016 On requirements for mineral fertilizer has been passed.

The technical regulation determines the requirements for the safety of mineral fertilizers for the entire territory of the EAEU. To the issues of both the use of the fertilizers and their storage, transport and marking, the regulation applies.

The text had been published on February 28, 2017 on the the Commission.

The regulation's requirement do not concern organic and exclusively organic mineral fertilizers.

For mineral fertilizer, the regulation intends the following forms of conformity assessment:

  1. State Hygienic Registration on the basis of the safety data sheet and test reports
  2. state control

The resolution enters into force, 30 days after the publication. Currently, the exact time is unclear.
