Register of all attractions subject to an EAC Certification has been created

On January 18, 2019, the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has passed the register of attractions subject to an EAC Certification. The EAC Certification follows the procedures and regulations of the Technical regulation TR EAEU 038/2016 On safety of attractions.

The attractions are divided into two groups according to their risk potential:

TR CU 033/2013 On safety of milk and dairy products has been updated

After a transition period of a few years, the updated version of the Technical Regulation TR CU 033/2013 On safety of milk and dairy products has finally come into force on January 16, 2019. Starting now, the producers and suppliers of are obliged to inform the consumer of the amount of vegetable oil their products contain. This requirement only applies for products containing milk and milk fat substitutes.

New rules for all wheeled vehicles and their components

Towards the end of 2018, the Eurasian Economic Commission has issued new standards for all wheeled vehicles and their respective components. These Rules came into force on January 27, 2019. The new standards complement the provisions of the Technical Regulation TR CU 018/2011 „On safety of wheeled vehicles“. Some of the of new standards will only apply until April 1, 2019, others until December 31, 2019.

On November 23, 2018, Order No. 182 of the Eurasian Economic Commission was published, which approved the draft technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union "On the Safety of Alcoholic Beverages".
