Register of Beneficiaries of Greece
Legislation on the register of beneficial owners was adopted in 2018, and changes were made in 2019. The Ministry of Finance, by its Resolution of February 28, established the official start date of the register-March 3, 2020.
Now all legal entities registered or engaged in taxable business activities on the territory of Greece must maintain their own special register containing information about the beneficiaries. And then legal entities through a special service (GSIS) submit this information to the central register.
Apostille for extracts from commercial register of Greece
Greece acceded to the The Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents on 19 March 1985.
Therefore, the documents issued in Greece are subject to a simplified apostilling procedure, thus the documents gain full legal value in Convention member states after certified translation.
Apostilling usually takes about two weeks.
In addition, you can order certified translation from the Greek language.
