On July 16, 2021, the decision of the board of directors of the Eurasian Economic Commission No. 86 of July 13, 2021 was published. The updated lists of the standards according to TR CU 016/2011 "On the safety of appliances burning gaseous fuels" were approved. The document comes into force six months after the date of its official publication.
The Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology in Russia (Rosstandart) approved GOST R 59424-2021 "Guidelines for remote analysis of the state of production and testing of management systems"
On March 31, 2021, the Resolution of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation No. 34 "On Approval of the List of Non-Conformities with Accreditation Criteria Leading the Revocation of Accreditation and the List of Non-Conformities with the Requirements of the Legislation of the Russian Federation for Activities of accredited bodies that result in the blocking of accreditation" was published on January 28, 2021.
GOST R 59411-2021 “Glass fiber reinforced plastic pipes for industrial use. Construction and Operating Rules” has been approved on behalf of Rosstandart. This standard has thus become the first document to promote the use of non-metallic pipes in the oil and gas industry.
On January 1, 2021, a new procedure for registration of EAC declarations approved by Decision of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade No. 478 of July 31, 2020, came into effect.
By December 1 the Ministry of Industry and Trade will submit to the Government of the Russian Federation draft amendments to Decree no. 982 of December 1, 2009 “Uniform List of Products Subject to Certification and Declaration”.
On 14 September 2020, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) approved the draft for a new technical regulation on pipelines by Decision No 114. therefore a new technical regulation “On requirements for pipelines for the transport of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons” will be developed.
On September 4, 2020 a regular meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission took place, at which it was decided to supplement the plan for the development of technical regulations of the EAEU by amendments to Technical Regulations TR CU 008/2011 “On the safety of toys”.
Rosstandart has approved the national norm GOST R 59010-2020 “Equipment and covering for playgrounds.Additional safety requirements and test methods for universal playground devices".
The Ministry of Industry and Trade in Russia approved the drafts for the technical regulation of high voltage equipment. The public discussion on the draft of the technical regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union (TR EAEU) “On safety of high voltage equipment” has already began on April 24, 2018.
Since July 3, 2020 the accreditation body in Russia compares number and date of test reports of the accredited certification body with the data in the FGIS system entered by the laboratory. Such data is registered in the register of EAC conformity proofs.
