The year 2025 is coming to an end in a world that has lost its balance. The fourth year of war in Europe, the continued escalation of geopolitical conflicts, several quarters of economic recession in Germany, and a global economy dangerously close to a structural crisis – all of this forms the environment in which companies are forced to operate today.
Stability has become the exception. Planning certainty an illusion.
And yet: Schmidt & Schmidt is growing.
Operating under extreme conditions
2025 was not a year of comfort. It was a year of tough decisions, increased responsibility, and constant adaptation. In an environment where many market participants were forced to retreat, reduce services, or dismantle structures, we chose a different path.
- We invested where others froze.
- We trained where others cut back.
- We refined processes where others merely reacted.
This approach was not an expression of risk appetite – it was a necessity.
Team and structure
In 2025, we once again strengthened our team in a targeted manner. Not in terms of size, but in substance. Experience, resilience, and professional depth were our priorities. In an environment of constant change, a strong and disciplined team is the decisive competitive factor.
Our internal structures are consistently designed for stability, reliability, and scalability. In times when rules shift and requirements increase, our standards remain constant.
Development instead of stagnation
Despite the economic slowdown in Europe and increasing regulatory complexity, we were able to further strengthen our market position. Our international network was expanded in a targeted way, including the strengthening of our presence in Turkey and China.
At the same time, we continued to develop our digital infrastructure, optimized internal workflows, invested specifically in expertise, and further enhanced the security level of our systems. Information security and compliance remain non-negotiable for us.
In 2025 as well, we consistently aligned our internal structures and processes with international standards in the areas of quality management, information security, and environmental management. In a world of growing uncertainty, compliance is not a formality for us, but a structural foundation.
Against the backdrop of rising regulatory requirements, we further strengthened our role as a reliable partner for companies, banks, and institutional clients. Solutions were particularly in demand where legal uncertainty, political risk, and high time pressure converge.
Growth with discipline
Our growth is not an end in itself. It is the result of consistent focus, analytical decision-making, and a team that has learned to perform under pressure. We further refined our service portfolio, clearly defined priorities, and deliberately chose sustainable development over short-term effects.
Especially in times of global inflation and economic instability, our pricing policy remains restrained and carefully calculated. Long-term partnerships are more important to us than short-term margins.
Looking ahead
The year 2026 will not be easier. There are no signs of a rapid economic recovery, no guarantees of political stability, and no return to the old normal.
We do not expect tailwinds. We plan for headwinds.
And that is exactly what we are prepared for. Schmidt & Schmidt will continue to grow, expand its expertise, and take responsibility – for our clients, our partners, and our team. Not loudly, not spectacularly, but consistently.
Gratitude
We would like to thank our clients and partners for their trust in times when trust can no longer be taken for granted. And our team – for professionalism, resilience, and loyalty in a year that demanded a great deal from everyone.
We wish you peaceful holidays, clarity of thought, and steadfastness for the coming year.
2026 will be demanding.
We are ready.
